Still confused by the GA4 interface?

   It appears some people remain confused by the GA 4 interface in 2025. For many years now we have been able to ask  questions to Google Analytics Intelligence using natural language using the search bar at the top e.g.


“How many users did we get last week?”

“Why did my traffic drop yesterday?”

“Is there a problem with organic search?”

“Which channel converted the best for [Key Event A]?”

“Trend of new users last month?”

“Conversion rate for referrals vs paid search?”

“Share of sessions by browser?”

"How many new users did I acquire via referral last week?"

"Which channel had the highest revenue?"

"How did share of new users compare in January for Safari vs Chrome?" 

"What’s the bounce rate trend for desktop in the UK?""

as well as more advanced insights like:


“Which (ecommerce) product had over 300 unique purchases?”

“Top campaigns by [Event A] conversion rate?”

“What share of people on [Page] are male?”
